SpaceX
The reason space is a real market again. Falcon 9 flies twice a week, Starlink now runs at 7,000+ operational satellites, and Starship IFT-12 is the flight that decides whether 2027 launches happen on the new stack. First month of public trading has been all upside, and management has said basically nothing publicly. That's the story.
SpaceX runs three businesses under one balance sheet. Launch (Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, and eventually Starship) generates the revenue that funds everything else. Starlink is now the largest satellite operator ever built and is on track to be the largest revenue line inside the company by end of 2026. Starshield, the government version, is quietly stacking multi-year DoD and NRO awards.
What makes SpaceX different from every other space name on this list: they own the vehicle, the terminals, the ground segment, and the customer relationship. Nobody else does.
Watch: the Q3 print (first as a public company), Starship IFT-12 flight outcome, and any signal on when Starlink revenue gets broken out separately.
